A traditional Coaching Inn since the early 16th Cent. 

The Angel, set in the very heart of the town's Thoroughfare, with its own private car park at the rear of the building, still serves as a hub for the town's folk to meet and enjoy not only its welcoming atmosphere but a wide variety of refreshments and meals throughout the day. 

The seven individual, twin and double, first floor bedrooms are comfortably appointed and provide guests with all modern conveniences. 

Whilst downstairs, there is a choice of bars, a light and airy courtyard and our very popular Cleone’s Italian Restaurant, featuring a range of carefully prepared, great value, authentic dishes.
